The 12 Days of Christmas: Pokémon Style!

8 12 2010

Everyone probably has a television show or something of the like that they are embarrassed to admit having watched – this is particularly true when looking back on this that entertained us when we were young. My ‘embarrassing’ show (though I did not watch it for long, or all the ‘seasons’ and versions thereof) was Pokémon.

That said, my younger sister and I were bored one day, pretty much round about Christmas time, and thus came into being our own version of the Twelve Days of Christmas.

Just like that Garfield episode about the Twelve Courses of Dinner, we decided to substitute the gifts given on the various days with the names of Pokémon.

Sad… but true…

So keeping with twisting Christmas carols and attempting to get into the festive spirit – which might be working, since I bought our apartment a small tree and decorated it with all the trimmings – here for your ‘pleasure’/ discomfort/ laughing pleasure (and more than just a little bit of embarrassment on my part), I present to you the Pokémon version of the Twelve Days of Christmas.

We’ll just skip all the fa-la-la-la-la-ing and start at 12 so it’s over quicker.
