About

The Skinny on my Jeans (Genes) is a simple, yet humble blog about a simple girl-next-door type with a bit of a sting in her tail – an arson of wit, sarcasm and literary influence aids her in her journey to make it through life where the only way to stay sane is to go a little crazy. Books, cats, coffee and King – the simple things in life are the ones that mean the most. Though a feminist at heart, her literary mind has adopted this into herpersona to create a cute, crazy, complex (cat-loving) person, immersed in the world with a sarcastic edge… An avid writer, she is inspired by Stephen King, who has taught her to embrace her Dark Half (which probably makes her a Lacanian, no thanks to Freud…) Come drop in every once in a while, peruse her blog, and see how every-BODY has a tale to tell… Come in, dear traveller, and listen to The Tell-Tale Heart. [And yes, i DO realize that i have referred to myself in the third person throughout this whole ‘About’ section.]
